DoReMi Wine Cellar

DoReMi Wine Cellar is the result of the passion and friendship of two renowned Georgian winemakers, Giorgi Tsirghvava and Mamuka Tsiklauri, founded in 2014. Located in the picturesque village of Ozhio, on the right bank of the Alazani River and only 70–90 kilometers from Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, the winery combines centuries-old traditions with modern organic vineyard practices.

DoReMi is known for its pure, natural wines, crafted in kvevri – large, hand-made clay vessels buried underground in the cellar. The winemakers add no additives, do not filter or fine the wines, and use only a minimal amount of sulfites. Through this authentic production method, the wines emerge unpolished, pure, and vibrant, perfectly suited for true wine enthusiasts.

Vineyards

DoReMi carefully selects its grapes from three of Georgia’s most renowned wine regions: Kakheti, Kartli, and Imereti.

Kakheti, the beating heart of Georgian winemaking tradition, is celebrated for its ancient methods. Here, grapes are often fermented with their skins and mature stems, just as generations of winemakers have done before, resulting in wines of deep complexity and rich texture.

In Kartli, located in eastern Georgia, traditionally only part of the grape skins are used, while the stems are excluded from the fermentation process. This yields lighter, elegant wines with a refined balance and subtlety.

Imereti, in western Georgia, enjoys a cooler climate. Grapes from this region produce fresh, aromatic wines that reveal a delicate and expressive flavor profile.

All vineyards are organically cultivated, without artificial additives or chemical pesticides. As a result, each grape reflects not only the character of its terroir, but also DoReMi’s unwavering commitment to sustainability, authenticity, and quality.

Assortment DoReMi

Within the extensive assortment of DoReMi Wine Cellar, you’ll find an impressive diversity of wines that reflect the rich variety of Georgia. Winemakers Giorgi Tsirghvava and Mamuka Tsiklauri work with local grape varieties such as Mtsvane, Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Kisi, Chinuri, and Tavkveri. Each bottle is bottled unfiltered, made with wild yeasts and minimal intervention — offering an authentic experience of pure, natural wine.

A standout series within the DoReMi portfolio is the Ocho brand. These wines represent one of DoReMi’s special product lines and make a statement both visually and in content: the labels feature symbols of endangered Georgian animal species, through which Ocho raises awareness for nature conservation and biodiversity.

Within the Drinkrituals assortment, you’ll find a selection of distinctive Ocho wines, each showcasing the unique character and rich tradition of Georgian winemaking. Some examples include:

Ocho Kisi – an amber-colored wine made from the indigenous Kisi grape from Kakheti, traditionally fermented in kvevri, offering a characterful and complex flavor profile.

Ocho Rkatsiteli Mtsvane – an elegant blend of 70% Rkatsiteli and 30% Kakhuri Mtsvane, also produced in kvevri and bottled unfiltered, beautifully expressing the authentic Georgian terroir.

Ocho Goruli Mtsvane – a refined wine with a fresh and lively character, showcasing a subtle balance between fruitiness and minerality.

Ocho Chinuri – an expressive wine with an elegant structure and soft tannins, distinguished by its aromatic complexity and fresh finish.
