Order procedure

How does ordering at DrinkRituals work? 

DrinkRituals does everything possible to deliver your order safely and quickly to your desired address.

Delivery & Lead Time 

We do not sell or deliver alcohol to persons under the age of 18. Upon delivery, the courier will perform an age verification check, and the recipient will therefore be required to provide valid identification.

Orders are delivered to the address you have specified.

Orders placed on working days before 16:00 will be dispatched the same day from our nearest warehouse. On public holidays, in the event of an outbreak of a virus, or under other unexpected circumstances, the delivery of your order may take longer.

For deliveries, we work together with various shipping partners, such as DHL, Hermes, Colis Privé, and others. We strive to deliver your order on time. Exceeding the delivery promise due to force majeure does not give rise to any right to compensation, nor to the right to cancel the order.

Shipping Costs 

For deliveries within EU countries, we apply fixed rates. Read more about our shipping costs here.

Packaging 

Bottles are packed in boxes of 6 or 12. Your order is packed with the utmost care and precision, making damage virtually impossible.

Payment Methods 

Payments on drinkrituals.com are processed via a secure system. Our payment processing is handled by a certified payment provider. DrinkRituals accepts payments via Bancontact, Sofort Banking, American Express, Visa, and Credit Cards.

Returns 

You have the right to a 14-day cooling-off period. If you have changed your mind about your purchase, you may return the unopened bottles within 14 days. We kindly ask that you contact us first at info@drinkrituals.com. The bottles should preferably be returned in the original shipping box to prevent damage during transport. If the bottles are sent in packaging not suitable for transporting bottles and damage occurs as a result, we reserve the right to refuse the return. The customer will be informed of this by our delivery partner. The return shipping costs are at your own expense. For further information about your right of withdrawal, please refer to our return policy.

Damage 

Your order is packed in such a way that the risk of breakage or damage is minimal. Should your order nevertheless arrive damaged, we will cover all associated costs.

If your order is delivered in a damaged condition, you may refuse it at the door. If you accept the damaged package and wish to request a replacement, you must notify us by email and provide photographic evidence that the bottle(s) were delivered damaged.

The damage must be clearly demonstrated by the following photographs:

  • A photo of the delivered unopened box containing the bottles
  • A photo of the shipping label on the box
  • A photo of the delivered opened box containing the bottles
  • A photo of the product packaging, if applicable
  • A photo of the damage or the damaged bottle. The photo must clearly show where the damage is located. The bottle must still be unopened (the foil on the neck of the bottle is intact and the cork is unopened).

Complaints 

Orders must be inspected upon receipt. Any complaints must be reported to us within 72 hours of receipt.
