Vineyards in the Heart of Lombardy

The vineyards of Cantina Ricchi lie in the fertile moraine hills, a landscape shaped millions of years ago by retreating glaciers. This distinctive soil, rich in limestone and clay, creates a mineral structure that gives the wines their pronounced character. The proximity of Lake Garda plays an important role: the constant, cool breeze that blows across the hills keeps the grapes fresh and aromatic, even on warm summer days. At the same time, the sun-drenched slopes capture optimal light, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and fully.

Thanks to this combination of natural elements, the region is ideal for both white and red grape varieties. Cantina Ricchi makes full use of this and cultivates, among others, Turbiana — the characterful grape behind the renowned Lugana — as well as Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Nero. Each grape is grown with exceptional care, closely monitored throughout the growing season and harvested by hand, exclusively from the estate’s own vineyards. The result is a collection of wines that reflects the essence of this unique terroir: pure, elegant and expressive.
