A Rich History of Wine Passion

The story of Casa Vinicola Luca begins at a time when Moldova played a crucial role in the wine production of the Soviet Union. In 1949, the family winery was nationalized, and the family was deported to Siberia. Despite these hardships, the family regained their estate after the collapse of the Soviet Union and reopened it in 2011, determined to restore the centuries-old traditions of Moldovan winemaking.

Today, every glass of wine reflects the family’s resilience, passion, and expertise. The winery blends traditional methods with modern technology, producing wines that are both authentic and internationally competitive.

Casa Vinicola Luca is located in Cricova, Moldova, a region renowned for its exceptional vineyards and underground wine cellars. The estate covers approximately 10.5 hectares and is carefully planted with a mix of local and international grape varieties. The vineyards are meticulously maintained by hand, and the grapes are hand-harvested in small baskets to ensure optimal quality and freshness.
Its location in the heart of Moldova provides an ideal microclimate. Mild summers and cold winters, combined with fertile, limestone-rich soils, create perfect conditions for producing wines with deep flavor and character.

White Wines
Feteasca Alba, Feteasca Regala, and Chardonnay – refined, fresh, and elegant.

Red Wines
Feteasca Neagra, Rara Neagra, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir – rich, full-bodied, and complex.

The winery combines traditional techniques with modern vinification methods. White wines are aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve their fresh character, while red wines are partially aged in oak barriques from France, Romania, and Moldova, adding depth and subtlety to their aromas.
