Wine from the Kangoun grape comes from a cross between different Armenian grape varieties. The grape has only been cultivated in the region of Yerevan since the late 1970s. The grape is also called ‘Kangun’. Wine from the Kangoun grape is relatively new, but this is made up for by its excellent taste and unique character. It is guaranteed to stand out. Wine from the Kangoun grape is therefore not easy to compare with a classic (West) European grape variety. You can only really know how this wine tastes after you have tried it.
