Aging in Oak Barrels – The Secret of Fine Wines
One of Popov Winery’s distinguishing features is the aging of selected wines in oak barrels. These barrels are stored in underground cellars with a constant temperature, ensuring controlled evaporation and optimal development of aroma and structure.
During this aging process, the wines gain refined density and a deep, complex flavor. The use of new oak barrels continually enhances the quality of the wines, allowing them to reach their ultimate character after 10 years or more, making each bottle a masterpiece of taste and finesse.
Limited Production for Premium Wines
Popov Winery produces between 150,000 and 200,000 bottles annually, ensuring strict quality control at every stage of the production process.
