Taste character Winiveria Khikhvi Qvevri

The Khikhvi is a forgotten Georgian white grape variety that normally produces wines with fresh notes and a pleasant acidity. The winemaker breathed new life into the Khikhvi grape. This grape has been “rediscovered” and is now widely cultivated throughout Georgia.

Due to the long and cold fermentation method in the Qvevri, the Winiveria Khikhvi Qvevri has obtained beautiful character traits. The wine has an intense dark golden yellow color, sparkling and clear in the glass. The nose is creamy with light notes of honey and apricot. Mineral on the palate, pleasantly dry but fruity, with hints of dried apricot, mandarin peel. Slight spiciness in the aftertaste. In short, a quality wine that is worth trying and a unique flavor enhancer for every dish.
