Château Musar Gaston Hochar Blanc 2016
Château Musar Gaston Hochar Blanc is an exceptional white wine from Lebanon’s world-renowned Bekaa Valley, a region celebrated for its rich vineyards and unique climate. This wine is made from the indigenous grape varieties Obaideh and Merwah, which are related to Chardonnay and Sémillon, respectively. These authentic Lebanese grapes give the wine its distinctive complexity and depth. The wine is produced in the traditional way: the grapes are fermented in Nevers oak barrels and then aged for 9 months in oak, imparting an elegant structure and subtle wood nuances. After bottling, the wine matures in the cellar for 6 to 7 years before being released. With an alcohol content of 13%, this refined white wine remains soft and approachable while offering impressive aging potential.
Château Musar Gaston Hochar Blanc is a sophisticated Lebanese white wine that gracefully reflects the rich tradition and character of the Bekaa Valley. Discover, taste, and savor every exquisite sip.

Description
Winery
In the early 1930s, Gaston Hochar laid the foundation of an exceptional wine estate in the picturesque town of Ghazir, just outside Beirut. Over the years, modern cellars were built, which often also served as shelters in turbulent times. His children and grandchildren have tirelessly continued Gaston’s passion. In particular, his now-deceased son Serge brought Château Musar to international prominence, and with his characterful, long-lived wines, he gave a powerful boost to Lebanese winemaking. Château Musar Gaston Hochar Blanc is once again a splendid creation from the rich heritage of this iconic house.
