Flavor character Millesimo Special Cuvée
In the glass, the Millesima Special Cuvée presents itself in a deep, intense ruby red, immediately capturing attention and foreshadowing the richness to come. The bouquet opens with refined aromas of cedarwood, leather, game, stewed red fruits, tobacco, rosewood, and a hint of incense. On the first sip, the wine unfolds with an intriguing palette of spicy nuances, subtle notes of caramel, black truffle, and exotic spices. The finish is long and smooth, supported by elegant tannins that close the tasting experience in perfect harmony. This exceptional cuvée pairs beautifully with refined dishes. Enjoy it with red meats, such as a tender lamb chop, or with strong cheeses like Roquefort or other blue cheeses, which complement the wine’s complexity perfectly. Serve the Millesima Special Cuvée lightly chilled at 15–17°C and decant 30 minutes in advance to allow its full aromas and finesse to shine.

Description
Winery
In the western Bekaa Valley, a region steeped in history and wine tradition, stands the impressive Château Kefraya, which has been in the Bustros family for generations. The château, built in 1946 on an artificially raised hill, occupies a site that centuries ago was used by the Romans to observe troop movements.
Despite the challenges of the Lebanese Civil War between 1951 and 1979, the Bustros family took the bold step of planting their first vines between 1975 and 1990. With dedication and craftsmanship, they succeeded in producing exceptional quality wines from their own vineyards. Their hard work was soon rewarded: in 1982 and 1983, the wine Les Coteaux de Kefraya won its first international medals, after which the estate began exporting to France. In 1997, the renowned American wine critic Robert Parker awarded the 1996 Comte de M 91 out of 100 points, describing it as “a major achievement for Lebanon.” Today, Château Kefraya exports its wines to over 40 countries across five continents and continues to be a symbol of Lebanese wine tradition and elegance.
