With an alcohol content of approximately 13%, Venec Temjanika offers a light, elegant body perfectly balanced on the palate.

This Macedonian gem is highly recommended for lovers of aromatic, refreshing white wines. Whether for a festive dinner or a relaxed gathering, Venec Temjanika brings the authentic taste of Macedonia directly to your glass.

Flavor character Venec Temjanika

Venec Temjanika enchants with its crystal-clear, pale yellow color. Its aroma unfolds like an inviting symphony of elderflower, soft honey notes, and subtle hints of hazelnut. On the palate, the wine reveals a fresh, juicy citrus flavor, refined by a delicate, spicy touch of white pepper. The flavor profile is complex yet remarkably approachable, with a finish that is elegant and long-lasting.

Venec Temjanika is the perfect companion to light dishes. It pairs beautifully with white cheeses such as feta or soft cheeses, fish – whether grilled or baked – and chicken prepared in light sauces. For an optimal experience, the wine is best served at 10–12 °C, allowing the fresh citrus and floral notes to shine fully.

Winery

Since 1956, Venec Winery has been crafting wines using classical, timeless techniques. Venec is located in the picturesque village of Dolni Disan in southeastern Macedonia. The family-owned business boasts a rich agricultural tradition spanning over fifty years, with extensive experience in livestock farming, agriculture, and the cultivation of high-quality grapes. Venec’s vineyards cover approximately 300 hectares, where both white and red grapes are grown. A significant portion of the harvest is carefully sold to other winemakers, extending Venec Winery’s influence beyond its own cellar. Each wine invites an unforgettable experience: the senses are captivated by refined aromas and subtle textures, while the unique character of each grower’s grapes is brought fully to life.

Creating a truly enchanting wine that is both accessible and enjoyable for everyone is an art in itself. Only the finest grapes are selected and fermented with the utmost care, resulting in a wine experience that lingers long after the last sip.
