Armenian wine brand Zorah has garnered significant attention in the wine industry. It all began when Zorik Gharibian visited Armenia many years ago. Zorik’s ancestors hailed from Armenia, and upon his first visit to his “homeland,” the winemaker in him quickly recognized the potential of the land to produce rich and flavorful wines. Armenia’s soil, climate, and other natural resources convinced Zorik to acquire a vineyard and introduce the country to traditional winemaking styles. More than a decade since the inception of the Zorah Wine brand in Armenia, Zorik takes pride in the fact that his wines are considered among the best in the world. The deep, historic vineyards of Zorah Wines embody a profound and unique culture reflected in the grapes cultivated here. Situated at elevations between 1400 and 1600 meters above sea level, these vineyards lie at the foot of the majestic Biblical Mount Ararat. You’ll find these vineyards in Armenia’s premium wine region, Vayots Dzor.
