In the enchanting village of “Voskevaz,” which translates to “golden forest” in Armenian, you’ll find the impressive Voskevaz Winery, situated in the Aragatsotn region of Armenia. This picturesque village, surrounded by the foothills of Armenia’s highest mountain, Mount Aragats, offers a stunning diversity of natural beauty. The landscape is imbued with the cultural layers of the ancient Armenian civilization and is a treasure trove of historical richness. Just a few kilometers away from the winery, on the edge of the scenic Kasakh River gorge, you’ll discover the remnants of the “Badali Jam” church, dating back to the 5th-7th centuries. In the nearby vicinity, parts of karases have been unearthed, clay amphorae used to mature wine that were buried in the ground.
