Wine House
The Voskevaz Vineyard is situated in the Aragatsotn region of Armenia, in the village bearing the same name, “Voskevaz,” which translates to “golden cluster” in Armenian. The area, nestled at the foot of Armenia’s highest mountain, Mount Aragats, is remarkably beautiful and diverse, carrying the cultural layers of ancient Armenian civilization. Just a few kilometers from the vineyard, on the edge of the picturesque Kasakh River gorge, lie the remains of the “Badali Jam” church, constructed between the 5th and 7th centuries. Nearby, fragments of karases (Armenian clay amphorae) were discovered, buried in the ground and used for aging wine. Voskevaz Winery was established in 1932. Despite all the modern innovations, it has carefully preserved many of its authentic elements, including the buildings.
