Vranec carries a powerful meaning; ‘strong, black and powerful horse’. This is also typical for the Venec Vranec 2017. This dry red wine, made from the Vranec grape variety, is dark red in colour and has aromas of blackcurrants, plums, cherries and even tobacco. The wine is full of flavour with a tinge of cocoa in the aftertaste.
This powerful red wine is delicious with an extensive drink board. Crumbly cheese and spicy meat dishes go well with this wine.
