Trinity Eh Areni 2016

In the world of wine enthusiasts, Trinity Eh Areni is synonymous with elegance, tradition, and tasteful perfection. This unique wine, originating from the breathtaking region of Vayots Dzor in Armenia, is a true masterpiece of winemaking. Trinity Eh Areni is crafted from the Areni grape, a native variety. The grapes are harvested with utmost precision, only when they have reached the highest level of ripeness, typically occurring in late October. After careful picking and destemming, the grapes undergo a special treatment. Approximately 15% of the precious juice is drained to increase concentration, allowing the wine to achieve its rich and characteristic flavor development. The wine then undergoes a thorough alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, allowing the grapes to impart their essential flavors to the wine. But that’s not all. Extended post-fermentation maceration ensures that the wine develops even more depth and complexity, setting it apart as a true premium wine. To further refine the distinctive flavor of Trinity Eh Areni, the wine is lovingly and carefully aged for 18 months in Caucasian oak barrels. This aging process not only adds subtle woody notes to the wine but also enhances its texture and balance, creating a wine that is truly unique in its kind. Every moment of the production process is utilized to give the wine its characteristic quality and depth, and the result is nothing short of extraordinary. Trinity Eh Areni is a wine with a perfectly balanced alcohol content of 14%, reflecting the harmony between the grape variety and the terroir. Order today and discover the magic of this beautiful Armenian wine from Vayots Dzor. Your taste buds will thank you.

Description

Wine House

One of the younger wine production companies in Vayots Dzor, Trinity, has been under the leadership of three wine enthusiasts since 2009, including someone who has literally written the book on the history of Armenian wine. Trinity’s focus is on producing wine as organically as possible, with minimal yield and without the use of modern mass production methods – quality over quantity. Trinity Canyon vineyards also continue to experiment with both native and foreign grape varieties. The grapes at Trinity Canyon Vineyards grow at an altitude of about 1300 meters above sea level, in a picturesque location in the village of Ahavnadhor. The soils here are volcanic, rocky-loamy, which is ideal for grape cultivation and obtaining bountiful harvests. No chemicals, pesticides, or other substances are used in grape cultivation. Everything is organic and natural, and the grapes are harvested by hand. Trinity Canyon Vineyards cultivate many famous grape varieties, such as Areni Noir, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Voskehat. The wine is fermented using traditional Armenian technology: in clay jars (karases) and oak barrels.
