Thaya Ryzlink Rýnský 2021 is a Czech wine made from the grape variety Ryzlink Rýnský (better known as Welschriesling) with an alcohol percentage of 12%. The wine comes from the Morava wine region, subregion Znojemská. In Eastern Bloc countries such as the Czech Republic, modern winemaking actually only started in the 1990s. Twenty years later, the wine industry is in better shape than ever. The companies are much better equipped and focus more on quality wines and their export. Many new, independent wine producers have also been added. Moreover, since joining the European Union, the availability of modern equipment has increased significantly.

International awards from the Thaya winery
The Thaya winery matures the wines in stainless steel tanks, but their greatest passion is wine aging in oak barrels. The oak comes from France and Austria, for each species there is a different size, type of combustion and different drying time of the wood. Het Wijnhuis has been a finalist as winemaker of the year several times. THAYA wines regularly reap success at international competitions and with each harvest our winery advances.
