Description
Winery
Le Château des Anglades Côtes de Provence Rouge belongs to the Côtes de Provence appellation. Château des Anglades has more than 20,000 hectares of vineyards in this area and benefits from maritime influences, interesting soil structures and exceptional temperatures all year round. The soil is primarily composed of schist and clay, creating a foundation that allows for wines with high aromatic potential. This results in deep-rooted vines, providing flexibility in the harvest date and thus in the maturation of the grapes—an essential element for producing high-quality wines. Furthermore, the microclimate prevailing in the terroir of Hyères – La Londe les Maures plays a crucial role in maintaining the health of the grapes. The marine breeze and the regularly present mistral wind ensure constant aeration of the foliage and clusters, allowing for minimal pesticide use.
