Since its establishment in 2006, Gevorkian Winery has emerged as a prominent leader in Armenia’s vibrant wine industry. The winery is renowned for its diverse selection of premium wines, crafted from indigenous Armenian grape varieties as well as a range of fruits and berries.
Gevorkian Winery’s offerings are characterized by the exceptional natural and climatic conditions of Armenia. Benefiting from around 300 sunny days annually, the Armenian grapes and fruits develop a unique sweetness and an extraordinary bouquet.
Innovative in its approach, Gevorkian Winery has introduced advanced winemaking technologies to Armenia. Among its notable achievements is the revival of the ancient Armenian Kakhani method, which involves drying selected grape bunches to produce exquisite wines. The winery has also reinvigorated the historic tradition of monastery wines and brought the German technique of Ice Wine production to Armenia. Furthermore, Gevorkian has pioneered a unique method for creating fruit wines, which are distinguished by their exclusive fruit-shaped bottles—a design patented by the winery. Gevorkian Winery’s commitment to excellence is underscored by its ISO 22000:2005 certification, the first international standard for food safety, and its wines have garnered numerous prestigious awards both locally and internationally.
Globally recognized, Gevorkian wines are celebrated by enthusiasts and connoisseurs for their distinctive flavors and superior craftsmanship. From the deep-rooted heritage of Armenian vineyards to the meticulous winemaking process, Gevorkian’s wines have captured the appreciation of diverse audiences across the world’s dynamic markets.
