Founded in 2006, Gevorkian Winery has swiftly risen to prominence as a leading force in Armenia’s dynamic wine industry. The winery prides itself on offering an extensive range of premium wines crafted from native Armenian grape varieties, alongside a selection of fruits and berries.
The wines of Gevorkian Winery are distinguished by the unique natural and climatic conditions of Armenia. With approximately 300 sunny days each year, Armenian grapes and fruits develop a distinctive sweetness and an unparalleled bouquet.
Gevorkian Winery has pioneered the use of advanced technologies in Armenia, including the ancient Armenian Kakhani method for producing fine wines from dried grapes. It has also revived the long-lost traditions of monastery wines and introduced the German technique of Ice Wine production to Armenia. Additionally, the winemakers have innovated a proprietary process for creating fruit wines, which are uniquely bottled in fruit-shaped containers—a design patented exclusively by Gevorkian Winery. The winery’s commitment to quality is upheld by ISO 22000:2005 certification, the first international standard for food safety, and its wines have received numerous accolades both locally and internationally.
Gevorkian wines have earned acclaim across the globe, delighting enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike with their distinct flavors and premium craftsmanship. From the rich heritage of Armenian vineyards to the meticulous winemaking process, Gevorkian’s wines have found admirers in diverse regions, spanning from the vibrant markets of the world.
