Description
Wine House
Founded in 2006, Gevorkian Winery has emerged as a leading player in the Armenian wine industry. The winery boasts a diverse range of high-quality products crafted from native Armenian grape varieties, as well as from fruits and berries. The uniqueness of their wines reflects the natural and climatic peculiarities of Armenia: with 300 sunny days per year, Armenian grapes and fruits acquire a distinctly sweet taste and an unparalleled bouquet.
Pioneering advanced technologies in Armenia, Gevorkian Winery was the first to employ the ancient Armenian Kakhani methodology for creating distinctive red wines using dried grapes. The winery has revitalized the often-overlooked traditions of monastery wines and introduced the German tradition of producing Icewines to Armenia. Furthermore, Gevorkian Winery’s winemakers have developed a unique technology for crafting fruit wines, presented in bottles shaped like the respective fruits.
