Feravino Dika Graševina 2020

Are you looking for a very pleasant, culinary white wine? Then the Feravino Dika Graševina may be for you. The Graševina (Welschriesling) is the most common grape variety in Croatia. We don’t mind at all because it is often a perfect ingredient for delicious dry white wines.

Flavor character Feravino Dika Graševina

The taste of this Croatian wine is uplifting, fresh, light and slightly floral. In addition, the structure is good and in fine harmony. Feravino Dika Graševina is ideal with grilled meat or fish dishes or oysters. Before serving the wine, cool it to 8-12 degrees.

Description

Winery

The winery Feravino is located around the village of Feričanci in the Slavonia wine region in eastern Croatia (between Hungary, Serbia, and Bosnia). The name Feravino is actually a combination of Feričanci and Vino.

The company was taken over from the state by the Kovačević family in 1997. Before that, it was a cooperative. At the time of purchase, the estate was in a very poor condition, and the family had to invest heavily. Over the past twenty years, nearly a quarter of the 160 hectares of vineyards have been replanted. In addition to the indigenous grape varieties, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir, among others, were introduced.
