Description
About the winery
The Feravino winery is located around the village of Feričanci in the Slavonia wine region east of Croatia (between Hungary, Serbia and Bosnia). The name Feravino is actually a combination of Feričanci and Vino.
The company was taken over by the Kovačević family from the state in 1997. Before that it was a cooperative. At the time of purchase, the company was in a very dilapidated condition. The family had to invest heavily. In twenty years, almost a quarter of the 160 hectares of vineyards have been replanted. In addition to the native grape varieties, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir were also introduced.
