David Givaudan Rhone wines – 3 estates, 2 men (Bernard Perret and David Givaudan), 1 mind set. The David Givaudan wines are composed of 3 estates: Domaine de Givaudan, Domain D’Antonin and Domaine de Rabusas. Aiming at reflecting the diversity and complexity of Côtes-du-Rhône terroir, the 3 estates share the same philosophy: “Express the quintessence of soil, climate and winemaker”.
Situated in the charming village of Cavillargues, Domaine de Givaudan holds the distinction of being the village’s first and only private cellar. The estate encompasses 24 hectares, producing wines under the appellations of Côtes-du-Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, IGP Pays d’Oc, and IGP Vins de Pays du Gard. The unique soil composition, complemented by a mild semi-continental climate, creates the ideal conditions for producing exceptional quality wines—a fact well understood by independent vintner David Givaudan.
David’s passion for viticulture began in his early childhood when he would accompany his grandfather to the vineyards. This early love for winemaking inspired him to establish his own estate in 2001 when he bought 20 hectares of vineyards around Cavillargues village. Today, Domaine de Givaudan thrives with the collaborative efforts of three generations working together. As a family business, their dedication and heritage remain the core driving forces behind the estate. This blend of tradition and modernity is seamlessly woven into every aspect of their winemaking process.
