Taste character Cognac Daniel Bouju Grande Champagne Réserve 0,7L
The colour of this cognac is strikingly beautiful and reflects the quality of the craftsmanship and the terroir. The deep, warm amber hue is entirely natural. Every nuance in the glass is the result of the time and the oak in which the cognac has matured. Upon pouring, the nose reveals creamy aromas of leather, tobacco and vanilla, complemented by notes of dried fruit and the characteristic Charentaise rancio — the nutty, complex quality that develops after years of ageing in the cellars of the Grande Champagne. The cognac lends itself well as a digestif after dinner, paired with dark chocolate, aged cheese or a cigar. For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to serve this cognac at room temperature, between 18 and 20°C. At this temperature, the aromas are best expressed, from the first impression on the nose to the long, smooth finish. Cognac Daniel Bouju Grande Champagne Réserve is an expression of more than two centuries of French craftsmanship and family tradition.

Description
Producer
The story of Daniel Bouju began in 1805 when the Allard and Chauvin families founded it in the picturesque village of Saint-Preuil, located in the heart of the Grande Champagne, the premier cru of Cognac, where eaux-de-vie of great finesse are produced, characterized by much distinction and length, and with a predominantly floral bouquet. The path to perfection for these eaux-de-vie involves a patient ageing process in oak barrels, allowing them to gradually reach their ultimate maturity. It is worth noting that exclusively the spirits originating from this celebrated cru are awarded the prestigious Appellation Contrôlée titles of “Cognac Grande Champagne” or “Cognac Grande Fine Champagne”.
