Taste character Cibonne Tentations Rosé 2017

The Domaine de la Sanglière Signature is a fantastic rosé, with bright color. The nose is discreet with hints of spice and yellow fruit. Nice volume on the palate, smooth and balanced with persistent peach fruitiness in the aftertaste. A great rosé for an aperitif, with a light salad, shellfish or poultry. Serve the wine at a temperature of 12 ° C.

Description

About the winery

Sanglière Signature comes from Domaine Clos Cibonne, located on the edge of the Mediterranean in southeastern France, between Marseille and Nice.

The former owner of the estate was Jean Baptiste de Cibon, Captain of Louis XVI’s Royal Navy. After his death, the estate was sold to the Roux family, whose successive generations have continued the traditions and history of the native Tibouren grape variety on this estate since then.

In the 1930s, the estate was converted exclusively to viticulture. The Roux family chose to grow the original and little-known Tibouren variety in addition to the Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah varieties. Although today we may find some Tibouren in other Provencal wines, Clos Cibonne remains the most important ambassador of this variety in the world!
