Winery
Château Ksara is the oldest winery in Lebanon and was founded by Jesuits. Red, white and rosé grapes are pressed at one kilometer above sea level. The Prieuré refers to the monks who used to restore the vineyards here.

Château Ksara Le Prieuré is one of the best wines from Lebanon. It is not just that this wine was awarded in Berlin and won a gold medal. No fewer than 4 grape varieties are used in this red wine: Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. The combination of the varieties gives an excellent blend where spicy and fruity aromas can be recognized.

Red plums, cherry jam, forest fruits and in particular the Mediterranean spiciness, are unmistakable for the Bekaa Valley.
