Description

The Wine House

Château Kefraya was founded in 1979, during the civil war in Lebanon. This remarkable achievement was achieved thanks to the vision and hard work of the founder Michel de Bustros, who – 25 years earlier – had already built his castle on a Roman hill in the village of Kefraya.

The vineyard, located at 1000 meters above sea level, at the foot of Mount Barouk in the Bekaa Valley, is characterized by an astonishing diversity of soil types. Each Château Kefraya wine is a blend of several varieties, all grown exclusively on the estate to respect the inherent expression of the terroir.
