Ararat Five Years 0.5L New Range

Ararat Five Years Brandy 0.5L is a refined, top-quality brandy from Armenia, crafted with great attention to tradition and detail. Its production uses techniques inspired by the classic Cognac method, ensuring a high level of craftsmanship. However, instead of French oak barrels, this brandy is aged in carefully selected Armenian oak, giving it a distinctive and characterful flavor profile. This results in a unique identity that is closely tied to the country’s rich history and natural resources. With an alcohol content of 40%, the brandy offers a harmonious balance of strength and smoothness, creating an elegant and versatile tasting experience.

Flavor character Ararat Five Years

The brandy immediately stands out with its warm, golden-brown hue. On the nose, fresh and fruity notes emerge, refined with subtle hints of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, a rich flavor profile develops, featuring impressions of juicy peach complemented by a light touch of dark chocolate. The finish is elegant and smooth, with lingering nuances of blackberry and caramel that pleasantly persist. A remarkably characterful spirit that continues to surprise with every sip.

For the best experience, the brandy is best served at a temperature between 18 and 22°C. It pairs excellently with full-bodied cheeses, grilled meat dishes, or a piece of dark chocolate, where the flavors beautifully enhance one another.

Description

Producer

Founded in 1887, the Yerevan Brandy Company is recognized as a significant icon of Armenian tradition and craftsmanship. The company, known for producing the renowned ARARAT brandy, has grown over time to become one of Armenia’s leading brandy producers, exporting to more than 50 countries worldwide. For the production of Ararat brandies, only carefully selected grapes from Armenia are used, combined with pure water from the Katnakhbyur spring. The brandies are aged in Caucasian oak barrels, with experienced craftsmen closely supervising the process. By balancing traditional methods with modern techniques, the brand offers both classic and innovative varieties.

The brand has an impressive history with several milestones, including the introduction of one of the first vintage cognacs and international recognition at the 1902 World Exposition in France. Visitors to the museum in Yerevan can learn more about this rich heritage, observe the production process up close, and sample a range of exceptional brandies.
