About the winery
Alluria, a family business in winemaking, sprouted from the passion of the Machanyan family just a few years ago. The initial steps into winemaking were taken, and in 2014, the very first commercial wine production came to life. The vineyard operates in an experimental mode, where a limited quantity of grapes is hand-processed using a traditional basket press. What sets the process apart is the exclusive use of wild yeast, while fermentation and aging take place in barrels crafted from Karabach oak. For over a year, the wines undergo careful maturation in these barrels, and after bottling, they are once again bottled. Over the next 3-4 years, the project has ambitious plans to annually produce an impressive quantity of 10,000 bottles of wine. Alluria cherishes the craftsmanship of winemaking and aims to create unique, high-quality wines that captivate the senses.
