Description

Winery

In 1997, Teliani Valley was founded by two young winemakers who sought complete freedom in creating authentic Georgian wines. The goal was clear: to produce wines with character that reflect the rich tradition and soul of Georgia. Teliani Valley combines centuries-old winemaking knowledge with modern wine technology. Ancient indigenous grape varieties that were on the verge of extinction are being restored and given new life. This fusion of craftsmanship and heritage results in wines that are both refined and unique. The Teliani Valley winery is located in Telavi, in the renowned wine region of Kakheti, the heart of Georgian wine production. The vineyards cover an area of 700 hectares. The unique location, soil composition, and climate contribute to a wide range of wines with fresh, vibrant flavors and a distinctive character.

The portfolio includes powerful red wines, delicate white wines, and characterful amber wines. A special feature is the Qvevri wines: traditional Georgian wines made in earthenware amphorae, using a method that has been practiced since the time of Noah. This unique production technique gives the wines depth, complexity, and an authentic identity. Teliani Valley is known for preserving Georgian winemaking traditions and protecting ancient grape varieties. Sustainability, respect for nature, and a strong focus on quality contribute to wines that truly reflect Georgia’s rich heritage.
