Thanks to its early ripening and ability to thrive in cooler climates, this grape performs exceptionally well in Macedonia.The Popov Cabernet Franc Reserve is a dry red wine that has been aged for 12 months in oak barrels. This carefully applied aging gives the wine deep complexity and a velvety-smooth structure, while the characteristic aromas of Cabernet Franc are beautifully expressed. Popov Winery is a prestigious family-owned vineyard located in Sopot, in the heart of the renowned Tikveš wine region, the jewel of Macedonia and the Balkans. The winery was established in 2001 with an initial capacity of 150,000 liters and 17 hectares of vineyards. Over the years, continuous investments have been made in both advanced grape processing technologies and the expansion and enhancement of human expertise. Today, the estate covers 40 hectares of carefully selected and meticulously maintained vineyards, where the grapes ripen under optimal conditions.

The wines of Popov Winery combine character with finesse, forming a harmony between modern techniques and the centuries-old traditions characteristic of the Tikveš region. They offer a refined balance of fruity and floral aromas, reflecting the unique terroir and the specific grape varieties. With an annual production of 150,000 to 200,000 bottles, the winery can ensure strict quality control at every stage of the winemaking process.
