Winery
The vineyards of Château Kefraya are spread across the rolling slopes of the Bekaa Valley, 1,000 meters above the Mediterranean Sea. The rich soil—a harmonious mix of clay-limestone, chalk, sand, and gravel—provides an ideal foundation for vines that thrive in the sun without artificial irrigation. Significant temperature differences between day and night ensure perfect grape ripening and optimal harvest conditions.
Château Kefraya stands out for the diversity of grape varieties used in its complex and balanced blends, including international favorites such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Chardonnay, Viognier, Carménère, Marselan, and Muscat à Petits Grains. At the same time, the estate is committed to preserving and reviving indigenous varieties, such as Obeidi, Merwah, and Mekssessé among the white grapes, and ancient Lebanese red varieties like Assouad Karech and Asmi Noir. All Château Kefraya wines are entirely vegan, and a large portion of the vineyards is organically certified. The estate follows a sustainable viticulture policy that respects the natural expression of the terroir, allowing the vines to flourish and the unique characteristics of the Bekaa Valley to be fully expressed.
