Château Ksara Carignan Old Vines 2020
The Château Ksara Carignan Old Vines is an excellent example of a good red wine from Lebanon. The wine consists of the 100% Carignan grape. At the end of the eighties, the Carignan was the most widely planted grape in France. But this species can also thrive in Lebanon. The fertile Bekaa Valley ensures that the vines, over 60 years old, can grow and bloom in optimal conditions. The wine is made in the traditional way in concrete tanks.
Taste character Château Ksara Carignan Old Vines
We recommend aerating the Ksara Carignan Old Vines before pouring it. This way it comes loose and tastes like cherries, cranberries and blackcurrants. The red wine is the ideal companion for dishes with chicken or leg of lamb with herbs. A dry and spicy taste go well with this.
