Keush Origins Brut

Are you a fan of champagne or prosecco and on the lookout for something new? Keush Origins Brut is an excellent alternative. This sparkling wine is produced in the high-altitude vineyards of Vayots Dzor, a region renowned for its exceptional winegrowing conditions. The vineyards are situated at impressive elevations where the grapes benefit from abundant sunlight and a unique combination of limestone soil and volcanic rock. These conditions contribute to the freshness and complexity of the wine. Keush Origins Brut is a blend of two indigenous Armenian grape varieties: Voskehat (60%) and Khatouni (40%). Voskehat is noted for its rich aromas and full-bodied flavor, while Khatouni adds delicate fruitiness and lively acidity. A key feature of the wine is its extended aging on the lees. It matures for a minimum of 22 months on the lees, enhancing its complexity and depth of flavor. This traditional method results in refined bubbles and a silky texture. The alcohol content of this wine is 12%, striking a perfect balance between flavor and freshness. Keush Origins Brut is not only visually captivating but also a delight for the palate, ideal for special occasions or to complement a festive meal.

A subtle touch of toast adds depth and complexity, elevating the overall experience. What truly sets this wine apart is its vibrant acidity and refreshing minerality, stimulating the palate and achieving a perfect balance. The finish is long, elegant, and unforgettable. Pairing suggestions for Keush Origins Brut include delicate flavors of fresh seafood such as oysters, lobster, and crab, where the wine’s freshness and minerality harmonize beautifully. About the Winery

Keush is a vibrant wine initiative launched by Vahe Keushguerian. Born in Syria and raised in Beirut, Vahe emigrated to Italy during the Lebanese Civil War. It was in his young adulthood in Italy where he discovered the world of wine, initially collaborating with American importers to introduce them to wines from Piedmont. Eventually, he established his own winery in Tuscany. However, as a member of the Armenian diaspora, Vahe felt a deep-rooted desire to return to his ancestral homeland. In the mid-2000s, he made the decision to move to Armenia. In 2013, Vahe founded Keush with the goal of spotlighting Armenia’s indigenous grape varieties and its rich winemaking heritage on a global scale.
