Trinity JAZZ Areni Chardonnay 2018

Introducing the unique Trinity JAZZ Areni Chardonnay, a bold experiment by the winery that challenges the boundaries of traditional wine production. This surprising creation blends the characteristics of the renowned red grape variety Areni Noir from the Vayots Dzor region with the refined elegance of Chardonnay, resulting in a masterful blend. The grapes are carefully harvested at their optimal ripeness, with Chardonnay picked at the end of August and Areni in early October. To avoid color extraction from Areni, the clusters are directly pressed. The wine then undergoes alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and matures on lees for 3 months. With a perfectly balanced alcohol content of 13.5%, this wine offers a distinctive and surprising experience for wine enthusiasts. Trinity JAZZ Areni Chardonnay invites you on an unforgettable journey through Armenian wine tradition, where each sip not only reflects the rich culture of Vayots Dzor but also embodies the perfect harmony between tradition and innovation. Treat yourself to this exceptional wine.

About the winery

The story of Trinity Canyon Vineyards began in 2009 when three enthusiastic and determined wine lovers decided to venture into the intriguing world of wine production. With the assistance of an equally passionate group of grape growers and winemakers, they established a unique vineyard in the Vayots Dzor Highlands, near the world’s oldest known wine production site dating back to approximately 6100 years ago. Trinity’s wines are infused with faith, traditions, and the legends of Armenian winemakers, which will always serve as a guiding principle for all their efforts.

In addition to the three main grape varieties (Areni Noir, Voskehat, and Khatun Kharji) that Trinity Canyon Vineyards uses for its wines, the winery collaborates with various native and international cultivars. With these grape varieties, the winery undertakes bold experiments, leading to sometimes intriguing discoveries. One of these experiments is Jazz Areni Chardonnay. Daring but undoubtedly successful.
