Voskevaz Rosé pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes: from light summer salads and seafood to subtly prepared white meats. It also impresses as an aperitif thanks to its fresh and fruity character.

For the optimal tasting experience, serve this rosé chilled, between 8°C and 10°C. This allows the aromas to fully develop and provides a refreshing, pleasant finish that invites another glass.

Description

Winery

The modern chapter of Voskevaz began in 2004, when entrepreneur David Hovhannisyan decided to breathe new life into the historic winery. Together with his brothers, Gago and Armen, he returned to Armenia to restore and modernize the winery, while honoring centuries-old traditions. Their mission was not only to upgrade the facilities but also to rediscover the classical Armenian winemaking techniques. One of the cornerstones of this approach is the use of karases: traditional clay vessels that have played a central role in Armenian wine culture for hundreds of years. During the 20th century, this method had nearly fallen into obscurity, but Voskevaz played a key role in reintroducing this unique technique in contemporary Armenia. Thanks to the use of karases, Voskevaz wines have a distinctive and characteristic flavor profile. By perfectly combining ancient traditions with modern winemaking expertise, Voskevaz creates wines that are both authentic and refined, with a quality and finesse that honor Armenia’s rich wine heritage.
